Do I need prior experience?
No. Start with Beginner modules such as Watchmaking Basics. We build up from core bench habits (handling, cleaning, lubrication fundamentals) before moving to full movement service routines.
What tools are required?
We list essential tools in each course overview. Most learners begin with a basic bench set: quality screwdrivers, tweezers, movement holder, loupe, and cleaning supplies. As you advance, you’ll add specialty tools per movement family.
Are there certificates?
Certificates are issued upon completion of assessments with passing scores. If an assessment requires photo/video verification, we provide clear submission requirements and turnaround expectations.
How are courses updated?
We release updates on a regular cadence, documented in course change logs. When we revise procedures (e.g., lubrication points or part-handling), we note what changed and why, so you can keep your workflow consistent.
Can I learn on a budget, or do I need premium tools?
You can start on a budget if you prioritize a few reliable essentials. We highlight where precision matters most (tweezers, screwdrivers, magnification) and where budget options are acceptable early on (some consumables and storage).
What’s the typical weekly time commitment?
Most learners do well with 3–5 hours per week. If you can dedicate a single focused session plus a short review session, you’ll progress steadily without rushing delicate procedures.
Do you cover quartz watches too?
The core focus is mechanical watch repair. However, many bench skills transfer directly (diagnostics discipline, cleanliness, handling). If a module includes quartz-related context, it’s clearly labeled in the course overview.
Where can I find refund / cancellation details?
Policy details are provided during checkout and in your enrollment confirmation. If you’re unsure which terms apply to your purchase date, send a message through the question form and include your receipt email.
